The AMD C-50 is extremely underpowered for its graphics solution. Go with HP Dm1z instead if you like longer battery life.

hi! actually, im also deciding between this laptop or the asus 1215b. both are priced the same but the asus only has windows 7 starter and amd c50 (but a 6cell battery).

On a side note, is it possible to know if you can install other keyboard inputs (to type chinese or other languages) in this laptop?

personally, I'm more keen into getting an SSD rather than the RAM upgrade. :P You can still use the hard drive as an external storage. Yun nga lang, mahal talga ang SSD. :(

@Jasper If you buy a 4GB RAM, then you'll have a spare stick na most likely you won't be able to use so best thing to do is sell it na lang. mabawi man lang at least a part of what you paid for the 4GB stick. As for how much you'll be able to sell it off, that I can't say. Cguro problemahin ko din yan when I do the upgrade. hehehe...

@Jasper Unfortunately, this notebook we have here has only one RAM slot so the only upgrade for RAM is 1x4GB.

@climacs, I'm not sure. you can check it out at www.pcgilmore.com.ph

@Jasper, Firefox is known to be a resource hog talaga even before pa. even if you close your ff browser after using it, d ba papakawalan yung naka-cache na memory. i think Chrome is the lightest among the mainstream browsers.
